This is a proposal for an annual event taking place on a weekend morning, not a permanent road closure, so any traffic flow disruption would be very minor (in terms of both severity and duration).
The Horseshoe may well be far less prestigious than the Harbour Bridge, but surely that doesn’t make it unsuitable for hosting an occasional entertaining event?

Is the Horseshoe bridge as prestigious as the Sydney Harbour Bridge??
Furthermore, I doubt closing 1 of the 2 bridges that links Perth to Northbridge over the rail line will do the congested traffic flow any good.
